The Ohio K12 Help team and the Ohio Department of Higher Education are making improvements to the Ohio FAFSA Data Service (https://www.ohio-k12.help/fafsa). FAFSA data is used by high school counselors who are assisting graduating seniors seeking financial aid for college admission.
Some of the recent and planned improvements include:
- Identifying one or more named FAFSA Counselor(s) for a district or school.
- Sorting and filtering student data by last name and year of birth.
- Searching applications by students that did not enter a valid HS NCES code.
There are over 540 districts and schools participating in the FAFSA Data Service. Visit https://www.ohio-k12.help to view the current list of participating districts and schools. If your district or school is not on the list of participants, contact the Ohio K12 Help team at support@ohio-k12.help to receive instructions.
The Ohio FAFSA Data Service was first available in 2016 as part of Ohio’s FAFSA Completion Initiative. It is managed by the Ohio K12 Help team in cooperation with the Ohio Department of Higher Education (ODHE).
