We are pleased to welcome aboard another hard-working, state-focused group – the State Software Development Team (SSDT).
The Management Council remains focused on statewide initiatives with equal impact that support Information Technology Centers, school districts, and partnerships with state agencies.
Included in this focus is the continued collaboration and partnership between the Management Council of the Ohio Education Computer Network and the Ohio Department of Education as the transition of fiscal agency of the SSDT to the Management Council was completed on July 1, 2019. We are excited about this transition and the opportunity it presents to further efforts to support the PreK-12 education community throughout Ohio. The State Software Development program aligns with all three goals of our strategic vision:
- Support and empower ITCs to serve their constituencies
- Build and nurture partnerships across the OECN, ODE, and beyond
- Enhance instructional and administrative applications
We look forward to working closely with the SSDT to fulfill our mission of making a difference in the lives of Ohio’s learners, teachers, and leaders as we connect ITCs, secure data, optimize technologies, and empower education.
